David Beckham scores two beauties in LA Galaxy victory over Portland Timbers

Posted by on July 14th, 2012

David Beckham might not be going to the Olympics with Team Great Britain this summer, but he’s still plenty capable of scoring some beautiful goals. Beckham managed to beat Timbers keeper Troy Perkins twice in the first half to help the Galaxy welcome Timbers interim boss Gavin Wilkinson first match in charge with a loss. His first strike of the night is surely a goal of the year candidate, and his second wasn’t bad either.

Just as an unrelated side note, it’s refreshing to see MLS post such great highlights to their official YouTube page. Maybe the EPL could learn a thing or two from that? (Follow me on Twitter @J1NKL3)

Team Great Britain? Really. England, Scotland and Wales combine for one team in every Olympics? Wow dude.
