The position of Tight End has evolved into a Fantasy relevancy. Years ago, the Tight End was known for being able to pass protect and virtually nothing else. They were big, slow and had hands of stone. Thanks to Kellen Winslow Sr., Dave Casper, Mike Ditka and others, we saw the position change right before our eyes. These gentlemen paved the way for Tony Gonzalez and Antonio Gates. Last year we saw ground breaking performances from Rob Gronkowski, Jimmy Graham and Vernon Davis in the playoffs. No longer is the Tight End an afterthought on the Offensive Line, they are playmakers. The list I have compiled will give you some clarity on Draft Day.
